Being sold in frame as shown which is the frame it was in when it was obtained through an Estate Sale. It is a nice frame that has a weathered blue color mixed into the wood, and has few defects.

This is a colorful lithograph depicting a beautiful sunset in the Hill Country of Texas. Bird dogs "on the hunt'" are detailed and shown standing in a grassy area. The overall colors used in the lithograph remain very clear, vivid and distinctivly blended in a subtle way. The artist, Victor Armstrong was born in Austin, Texas and is considered to be one of the Southwest's most celebrated colorists. He designed and completed murals in places throughout North Carolina, Arkansas, Louisianna and Texas. Victor Armstrong is a member of the Texas Wild Bunch and regularly exhibits his work throughout Texas and the Southwest.
