Vintage Antique Chinese 4 Panels Table Folding Screen. Black lacquered wood panel. Brass hinges. The interior (front) of each panel is applied/inlaid with carved and dyed bone, mother of pearl and abalone shells, depicting ladies in garden scenes, with handpainted mountain, river and gazebo scenes as background. The exterior (back) of the screen features hand painted images of foliage (bamboos, chrysanthemums, Lingzhi mushrooms and wild flowers).

Good condition, one small shallow crack (Photo 9); Slightly gold paint and lacquer coating loss, nothing very obvious. Slight overall cloudiness to the lacquer coating, which could disappear naturally or be removed after cleaning properly.
