Brand new factory sealed 7-disc set of season 4.

Starts off with part 2 of the cliffhanger from seaon 3 "Best of Both Worlds" as Captain Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) struggles with the nightmarish horror of assimilation into the hive-mind of the Borg. Data (Brent Spiner) discovers both his father (creator) and brother (evil twin)!

In the episode "Final Mission", Ensign Crusher (Wil Wheaton) learns he is accepted into Starfleet Academy and leaves the series. This is a shame as he was my favorite character, but he does return later in the series as a guest star on a couple of episodes.

The ruthless empire of the Cardassians emerges as an important nemesis for the Federation. Transporter Chief Miles O'Brien gets married to Keiko Ishikawa. Suspicion of Romulan sabotage aboard the ship leads to a paranoid power struggle. And political maneuvers within the Klingon Empire draw Worf (Michael Dorn) into an inevitable civil war.

The show really hits its stride as previous seasons hard work pays off with solid characters, storylines and ratings that keep climbing. And the show truly enters previously uncharted territory as the episode count surpasses the original Classic Star Trek series.
