Vintage original Second Draft script from the 1980's television industry-themed comedy series, ALL IS FORGIVEN, produced by Paramount Television Productions. It is the most desirable script from the series, as it is from the very first episode (pilot), which was entitled On Air Commitment, in which Paula (Bess Armstrong) is appointed producer and scrambles to find time to get married to Matt (Terence Knox). The cast includes David Alan Grier, Shawnee Smith, Bill Wiley, Judith-Marie Bergan, Deborah Richter, Valerie Landsburg, and Carol Kane.
Written by Howard Gerwitz, Ian Praiser, and Glen and Les Charles, this Second Draft script is dated May 22, 1985. It consists of two acts in 61 pages which were 3-hole punched and bound with three brass brads between a medium blue front and back cardstock cover. The title of this first episode was not yet determined and is shown as "40161-001" on the front cover and noted as "Pilot" on the interior title page. It is complete in overall very fine- condition with a 2 in. diagonal crease on the top and bottom left corner of the front cover with light signs of wear in these areas. There are no missing pages, tears, stains, or other flaws, nor are there any handwritten notations present within.
