*The new electronic synchronizer "Synchro-8" is designed for scoring 8-mm amateur films 
with separate phonograms using standard equipment produced by the domestic industry.

In a split-track system, a reel to reel recorder is used for the soundtrack of the film.

Synchronizer "Synchro-8" records sync pulses generated by the synchronizer generator 
and sync contacts of a movie projector or movie camera onto the second track of a 
magnetic tape and reads them out to control the movie projector. To record and read 
sync pulses, a universal magnetic head is used in the design of the synchronizer, 
which does not require additional efforts to tension the magnetic tape (therefore,
it is installed between the drive shaft of the tape recorder and the receiving cassette).

This design eliminates the effect of the synchronizer on the operation of the tape recorder.
The electrical circuit of the synchronizer is made on transistors. Synchronization of films
is performed at any speed of the tape recorder, thanks to which you can use any existing 
magnetic recorder.

The Synchro-8 synchronizer can work with Luch, Rus and other film projectors with synchro 
contacts for scoring, as well as with any tape recorder, the design of which allows
the free removal of the magnetic tape outside the tape recorder from the side of the
winding cassette.

"Synchro-8" also makes it possible to perform synchronous sound recording of a film 
during shooting with a "Lantan" movie camera or any other camera that has a similar
device for connecting a synchronizer. Synchronizer "Synchro-8" provides automatic 
stop of the movie projector when the soundtrack stops. The synchronizer is powered 
from a 127/220 V alternating current network.
