This variety was developed specifically to produce purple sprouts. Sprout stems are a colorful purplish-red and are the darkest color of the red sprouting radish varieties with muted red and green cotyledons. This classic winter radish is better when planted later in the season, and it is great to harvest for winter storage because it keeps well. Grown to full maturity the root is deep purple and rich in antioxidants and firm white flesh with an attractive rose-colored skin. With a fast maturity date and being cold tolerant, these can be grown in between crops that are slower growing like onions, cabbage, or tomatoes. Radish microgreens are fast and easy to grow and are substantial and very crunchy. Due to its fast growth, it can be harvested as early as 5 days!
