Here is a VINTAGE "Sterling Silver Pope Paul VI & Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Virgin Mary Madonna Medal Coin Style Pendant".  My neighbor purchased this Sterling Medal during a trip to Italy in 1967 and wore it for about 10 years before it was put away and forgotten about.  Recently rediscovered, it has been safely and securely stored for over 35 years.  With a NICE Warm Patina, it is in EXCELLENT Condition with NO damage; it comes from a smoke-free, pet-free home.  With a diameter of  approximately 3/4ths of an inch, the front shows a profile of Pope Paul VI with the words "PAULUS VI PONT MAXIMVS" around the edge and a raised depiction of "Our Lady Of Perpetual Help" on the back; it is NOT Marked. 



History is precious, as well as timeless and this HANDSOME Religious Medal has a LOVELY, DELICATE design and a jump ring through the built in bail so it can easily be hung on any chain.  The back of the Medal depicts the iconic scene of the child Jesus in Mary's arms.  The story behind this image is that one day two angels (Michael and Gabriel) appeared to the toddler Jesus, holding in their hands the cross and the tools of the crucifixion.  The child Jesus ran quickly to his mother to seek consolation.
