Final Destination cover looks like new. Part two is a chromium cover and has a little dry sticker residue on the upper left. Cassette is nice and clean on both. Part one played fine with a tweak of the tracking for static sound at about 15 minutes in and had a few instances of snow flashes sprinkled throughout. Sometimes this is just a speck of dirt that goes away on second viewings.  Part two has a little crackle with a quick rolling line at 13 minutes, otherwise it played fine.

What began as a script for the 'X-Files', FINAL DESTINATION became a horror franchise hit. Anticipating a trip to France with fellow classmates and teachers, Alex suffers a vivid premonition in which all passengers aboard the flight are killed in a freak explosion. His violent reaction gets him and six fellow travellers--including Alex's girlfriend (Ali Larter) and Sean William Scott --thrown off the plane, after which the disaster takes place in reality.

Have they cheated death? Only temporarily, it would seem: grisly fates await the survivors, which seem to follow a specific pattern.

Sequel has the same premise as the original with some of the best death scenes in the entire series. Kimberly (A.J. Cook) has a horrifying vision of a traffic accident as she heads onto the highway. She blocks the ramp with her SUV, thus saving the lives of the drivers behind her.

However, Death doesn't like to be cheated and the drivers start to die in bizarre accidents. The highway pile-up is classic, airbag disaster is killer, elevator, barbed wire fence, plate glass window all come into play. Ali Larter returns from the first movie and again Tony Todd makes a cameo appearence as a morgue attendent who knows Death's design.
