Box has been cut and mounted in a white, hard plastic clamshell keepcase. Cassette has a small, narrow 'rewind' sticker across the bottom edge of top label.

The spine label and store branded security label on right endcap have both been cut thru. Apparently the store had to open up the cassette for a minor repair. Pre-viewed for quality and played great. Out Of Print in all formats and no longer being manufactured.

This is a British attempt to match the Italian horror movies of the period. The film's tone is set in a pre-credit sequence showing a young woman (Edina Ronay) running through the woods trying to escape a murderous rapist. The plot is set in 1780 and tells of Sir Richard Fordyce (John Turner) who returns to his castle under suspicion of rape, murder, and witchcraft.

After ghostly goings-on, including a banging window, apparitions of his first wife in the garden and on horseback, and a mute, paralytic grandfather hanging from a chandelier, it emerges that Turner suspects his live-in sister-in-law (Ann Lynn) and her cousin (Peter Arne) know a dark secret.
