This is a Crown Trifari Brooch with the brand name stamped on back. Circa 1955. Eventhough the design of this brooch has no embelishments, the slight folds that give it a ribbon look reflect light  and that gives a nice shine. It measures approximately 1 1/2 inches. The clasp is in working condition and the brooch has no signs of repair overall.  Any areas of normal wear are not viably accute. This is an understated design that can be worn on the lapel of a coat; or to showcase a fabulous scarf that has a design you want to compliment and where no other accessory is needed to make the statement. 

The symbol of Crown Trifari, a crown that sits atop / above the letter T of the brand name Trifari, and was used on the jewelry made from 1955 to 1969. The 'Crown' was eliminated from the brand name changing it to Trifari. There are many styles and designs that were used in the making of Crown Trifari jewelry, giving a wide range to choose from for those who collect nothing but Crown Trifari.
