Saw Palmetto is the most effective alternative to finasteride. A saw palmetto extract is able to block 5-alpha-reductase, an enzyme that converts testosterone into DHT (the molecule responsible for hair loss).
A major study showed positive results for men treated with topical saw palmetto and 10% trichogen plant complex. More than half of the 51 participants increased their hair count by 21.9% after four months of treatment.

INSTRUCTIONS:
Shake well for at least 10 seconds and then apply 0.5ml (a whole dropper) all over the top of the scalp once or twice a day (with at least an 8-hour window between each).
The lotion should last 15-20 days depending on the extent of the affected area.
As with Propecia and Minoxidil, some users experience a reduction in hair loss after 3 months and regrowth after 6 months, but it may take up to a year.
