Description
This is a decorative hand decorated wall tile purchased during a trip to Holland in the 1980s. It features typical Dutch motifs - windmills, reeds, water, and boats.
A hanger is taped to the back. The mark on the back reads:
Delft
HANDPAINTED
MADE IN HOLLAND
illegible initials
SIZE: This tile is about 6" on each side.

BACKGROUND: I recently bought a number of things from the estate of a neighbor who had very interesting older things. Today I'm listing a number of Dutch souvenirs from her she displayed in her kitchen. I'll be continuing to list things from this estate over the next several weeks.
