Operation:
The highly active enzyme lactase was extracted from the fungus Aspergillus Orizae which is a source of biologically active lactase stable even in the pH medium of gastric acid.
The use of the enzyme lactase found in the dietary product ColiPrev® is supported by several clinical studies showing a transient lactase deficiency as a possible cause of cramps in babies, as they lead to the inability of the child's digestive system to digest lactose.
Lactase is a natural enzyme found in the small intestine. This enzyme helps digest lactose, which is the main sugar in every milk. Lactase hydrolyzes lactose - it divides it into two simple sugars - glucose and galactose, and these simple carbohydrates are then easily absorbed in the intestines. Since milk is a fundamental part of the baby's diet and many babies temporarily suffer from insufficient production of the enzyme lactase, the mentioned intolerance to lactose occurs, which is associated with infantile colic, ie. baby cramps. Undigested lactose passing through the intestines causes bloating, tension, stomach cramps and diarrhea. Adding the enzyme lactase to milk prevents these symptoms, so if the baby's cramps are caused by insufficient lactase production, they will be significantly reduced or stopped immediately after adding the ColiPrev® diet product to the milk or formula.

Composition:
ColiPrev consists only of natural ingredients, the enzyme lactase is its main component.
56.9% lactase, 25% glycerol, 17.2% water, 0.9% stabilizer - Potassium chloride

Method of application:
When the mother is breastfeeding - before breastfeeding, an adequate amount of drops is dropped into a pre-sterilized spoon and given directly into the baby's mouth (follow the instructions from the dosing table in the package).
When using an adapted formula - drip an adequate amount of drops (according to the instructions from the dosing table) into the prepared milk formula.

Note:
ColiPrev should be used exclusively when feeding a child, especially in the first 3-4 months of life, at a time when the production of the enzyme lactase in the baby's digestive system is still not enough.
