A couple of PERUVIAN Dolls - Selling both as a set.
Each stands about 14.5" tall, Composition Heads, molded/ painted hair and features, cloth bodies. Both are jointed at shoulders and hips, but I would not bend them since they are so old. Note, the man's nose is scratched, but the woman face is in perfect condition.
Valued in 1979 book at $100-150 each. Note woman's hat has some deterioration. See photos.
These were among my mother's doll collection. She traveled during the 1930 & 40s and I am sure that is when she purchased them.
