Offered here is this Very Nice Original Japanese Rice Paper and Wood Parasol. It is in very good condition, for the most part. There is some light wear to the paper, and some areas that are very thin, and beginning to tear. I am unsure of the age of the parasol. I believe that it is an older piece, but not antique. It is made entirely of paper and wood, with a bamboo handle. The only metal on it is at the top outer edge. This piece is a bit bent, and looks like it is about to fall off. It has a silk covering in this area as well. The parasol opens and closes easily. It is 31" long, and opens to 29.5" in diameter. It is a very pretty, colorful parasol that would be a lovely addition to any Japanese collection.
