You are bidding on this nice color photo vintage postcard. It is of Cliff Palace Ruin, in Mesa Verde National Park. It is in very good condition, with only slight wear at the corners and edges, and some light fading. I am unsure of the exact age of the postcard. It is a standard 5.5” by 3.5” postcard, and the caption on the back reads; Cliff Palace Ruin, Mesa Verde National Park. From a promontory on the east rim of Cliff Canyon one looks directly into the huge cave occupied by Cliff Palace. In this view somewhat less than one-third of the ruin is seen. Government archaeologists guide visitors through this and other cliff dwellings giving authentic information about the prehistoric inhabitants.
