You are bidding on this nice Beautiful Vintage Wooden Carving of what looks like an Ancient Japanese Warrior. It is in very good condition, with some light wear and a few light surface scratches on it. I am unsure of its age or the type of wood used, but it looks like it was done from a single piece of wood, and has some flaws that may look like damage, however, I believe that they are natural flaws in the wood. The figure is comes with another lacquered base, and it simply sits on the base, but it is not attached to it. I am unsure of who the artist was, or how old the piece is. It is a very nice piece, and done with a remarkable ability to use the woods natural curves, and shape as part of the sculpture. It is 12.5" tall, and is about 7" b 6" in diameter at the base. It is a very nice wooden sculpture, and would be a lovely addition to any art collection.
