Offered here is this nice vintage solid metal and bronze bed side reading lamp. It is in good working condition, and simply needs a new bulb. It is made of all metal, with a bronze base, and an aluminum diffuser shade. I am unsure of the age of the lamp but I believe it dates to the first half of the 20th Century. The metal parts of the lamp are made to look like bronze, however, they are a different type of metal, probably steel, and there is a fair amount of surface scratches and surface rust on them. The base is solid bronze. There are a lot of dings to the red finish of the aluminum diffuser shade as well. It is the type of shade that clamps onto the light bulb. The lamp is 3.75" square at the base, 16" tall, about 8" wide, and the socket for the light bulb sits at about 9.5" high. This is a wonderful old reading lamp, and would be a wonderful addition to any vintage or antique collection.
