Customer Template Instruction

These instructions are here to guide you on creating the templates for your custom cut EVA decking. Please read the below steps carefully as these are in place to ensure that your EVA decking meets all your boating expectations!

1) Lay the clear mylar flat on the area where you would like your EVA Decking. Using masking tape to tape the edges of the mylar will help keep the template in place while you are tracing your pattern. It is best to work from one piece of mylar at a time. If needed, you can trim the mylar to fit in a tight or curved area, but do not cut the mylar into the shapes of the parts.

2) Use a black marker to trace your desired pattern. If your boat has a molded in non-skid, use the non-skid edge to trace the parts. If your boat is smooth, trace the parts to the desired size.

3) For all pieces templated, label the following on each part:

A Bow, stern, port, and starboard

B Cut outs, hinges, or latches

C Number each part

D Notate TOP on the top of each part

E Name and contact information

4) Take photos/videos of your traced pattern on the boat before detaching and email to us.

5) If a logo or text logo is desired, please send us all the details about the logo or text logo.
