ALL SEED LOTS ARE TESTED FOR GERMINATION.

A very early market garden radish of French origin. Listed by James J. H. Gregory of Marblehead, Massachusetts in 1875. Oblong and blunt, rose scarlet with a white tip. White crisp flesh with a mildly pungent flavor. Sow in the spring or fall and pick when small. 20-30 days.

These radishes are the handiest of snacks for the table. I just put out a bowl of them plain at meals, but the shape also makes them great for dipping. In France they are sliced lengthwise, spread with butter and salted, or placed atop a buttered baguette for a “tartine.”

 Try eating the radish greens in salads or soups.  Tasty and a bit spicy. Super healthy!!

Small orders (less than 10.00) will not receive tracking numbers. If you want a tracking number for a small order please request one before payment and we will adjust your invoice for the extra cost. Refund/Return Policy: We accept returns for exchange or refund 14 calendar days after delivery of the product. If an item is received damaged or is incorrectly shipped by us please contact Customer Support immediately. Customer is responsible for all shipping costs if seller is not at fault.

About Us


We are a small family run seed processor that has a long tradition of farming for many generations. I fondly remember my Grandfather telling stories about his Grandfather tilling the earth and the events that impacted his success. The stories bring to life the courage and creativity required to survive capricious weather and market prices. Our history makes it clear that the rewards of farming, including the birthing of the calves, the bounty of a good harvest, and the family's feeling of being rooted in the soil. I still remember with pride, getting to sit on my Grandfathers lap while driving the tractor for the first time during corn harvest.
 
In addition to commercial crops, most family farms also have large gardens to grow much of the food consumed on a farm. Growing your own vegetables, flowers, spices and herbs, canning and freezing were a normal part of life on the farm. We always saved seed from each plant for starting the cycle for the next year. We would like the opportunity to share some of these seeds with you.
