This is an AUTHENTIC HAND SIGNED ORIGINAL Vintage 8"x 10" BW photo of American singer and songwriter MARTY FELDMAN in the film "SILENT MOVIE" featuring his autograph. Silent Movie is an American satirical comedy film co-written and directed by and starring Mel Brooks, released by 20th Century Fox on June 17, 1976. The ensemble cast includes Dom DeLuise, Marty Feldman, Bernadette Peters, and Sid Caesar, with appearances by Anne Bancroft, Liza Minnelli, Burt Reynolds, James Caan, Marcel Marceau, and Paul Newman playing themselves. While indeed silent (except for one word, music, and numerous sound effects), the film is a parody of the silent film genre, particularly the slapstick comedies of Charlie Chaplin, Mack Sennett, and Buster Keaton. Among the film's most famous gags is the fact that the only audible word in the film is spoken by Marcel Marceau, a mime.
Martin Alan Feldman (8 July 1934 – 2 December 1982) was a British actor, comedian and comedy writer, known for his prominent, misaligned eyes. He starred in several British television comedy series, including At Last the 1948 Show and Marty, the latter of which won two BAFTA awards. He also co-created the BBC Radio comedy programme Round the Horne. Feldman was part of an ensemble cast of British comic actors that appeared in The Bed Sitting Room (1969), his film debut. He starred in the comedy Every Home Should Have One, one of the most popular comedies at the British box office in 1970. Feldman was the first Saturn Award winner for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Igor in Mel Brooks' 1974 comedy horror film Young Frankenstein.
