This is a miniature terracotta clay teapot made in Yixing, China and measures about 4" tall with the lid, 3" wide and 4.5" from handle to spout. It’s the cutest thing with a round form and three frogs with shiny black eyes. They serve as the the feet of the pot and a lizard is crawling up and around the spout. The handle is in the shape of either vine and leaf or maybe a lion’s tail. The lid has a ball enclosed in the knob that rattles when the water inside is boiling. There’s some Chinese writing impressed in the bottom of the pot and the base of the handle. This sweet little teapot is in perfect condition except the lid has a small chip on the edge of the interior rim that is about 3/8” long and not visible when in place. Please see photo #5.
