Scott Fitzgerald, William Faulkner, John Updike, and Truman Capote.
The hardcover has no remainder markings nor any internal markings. The pages are bright and clean. The book, frankly, should be described as BRAND NEW. No signficant flaws whatsoever. It still smells "new book new". No previous owner's name. The text block is still very clean. This is a very nice copy.
The dust jacket is LIKE NEW +. It shows only very minimal normal shelfwear. No tears or rips. It is not clipped. It is very clean. No stickers nor any sticker residue. Only very faint and minimal wear, primarily around the corners of the boards.
This is as close to BRAND NEW as you get without a book actually being BRAND NEW.
The book has no significant flaws and could easly pass as a GIFT QUALITY edition.
