SpeedBox for Giant 2017-2019 is a process-control module which suppresses the speed limiter of your electric bike. The display will show the actual speed, also other data such as current and maximum speed, average speed, daily distance traveled and range are correctly displayed.

If you have a new bike which hasn't been ridden at all, you must ride it at least 1 or 2 miles before you install the SpeedBox tuning kit.

The SpeedBox tuning kit is activated by briefly pressing the WALK button, which is located at the front of the control panel. After pressing this button, the current speed of 6.1 mph will be displayed on the control panel for about 3 seconds. This confirms that the SpeedBox tuning kit has been activated, and the supplementary assistance of your electric motor now works up to a speed of 35 mph.

When the WALK button is pressed again, the current speed of 1.6 mph will be displayed. This confirms that the SpeedBox tuning kit has been deactivated, and everything will work as if the SpeedBox had never been installed. The supplementary assistance of your electric bike now works up to its original speed limit.

Installation of SpeedBox:

1. Turn off the electric bike.
2. Remove all essential parts to get access to the motor connectors.
3. Disconnect the original speed sensor and control panel connectors from the motor.
4. Connect the SpeedBox to the disconnected motor connectors.
5. Assemble the motor back to its original state.
6. Turn on the electric bike.
