The Barbera Lorenzo line, named after 3 generations of Lorenzo Barbera’s is the company’s pride and joy. The line consists of single varietals, all grown in the ideal olive growing climates of Sicily. Lorenzo # 3 Varietal: Biancolilla (organic) Origin: Central Sicily (P.D.O. Val di Mazara).
- Aroma: Mild with green almond notes.
- Taste: Mild fruity flavor, well rounded taste with light peppery finish.
- Appearance: A slightly dense oil, golden yellow in color.
- Uses: Ideal is on all seafood, on vegetables crudités and with fresh cheeses.
- Method of Harvest: By hand.
- Filtering Method: Natural fiber filters.
- Extraction System: Initial stone removal process within 12 hours of harvesting followed by continuous extraction of the olive pulp; then oil is allowed to settle and then decanted naturally.
