These are all in acceptable condition.  There are rips, tears, tape and many other flaws but these books contain all the cooking value that they hold.  You won't be disappointed in a dish.  If you loved what your Grandma or Mother cooked for you, it was probably found in one of these secret little treasures.  One of the books is dated 1951 the rest are from 1953.  One is missing the cover.  Please see my pictures for more details. There is one cookbook from 1985 The Columbia-Dutchess-Putnam District "The Cookie District" this was just a random find but I am including it as a BONUS...
