What To Do

-Pick the size of the frame that is the size of your picture
-Choose "Glass, Backing and Turn Buttons" for your frame if artwork is suitable
-Contact us if anything needs to be changed. i.e. deeper rabbit cut for canvas, wider face, custom color, backing
-Sit back and wait for your frame to arrive!!!

These instructions are from 3M for Optix acrylic

--Special handling hints you should follow to ensure proper framing and maintenance and to prevent damage.
--Both sides of the acrylic have a protective masking of polyethylene film.
--Do not remove this protective masking until you are ready to insert in frame. Never slide panels over each other, a table, or other flat surfaces. This can remove the masking and expose the finished surface to damage, such as scratching.
--Try to always handle the acrylic by the edges.
--To remove any finger prints and to eliminate static buildup, use a weak solution of liquid dish washing detergent and warm water. Wipe the area gently with a soft, lint-free cloth. Allow the surface to air dry completely.
--Also 3M™ Plastic Cleaner, & 3M™ Plastic Polish

Whatever it might be, a rustic barn wood picture frame is an exceptional way to highlight any new artistic piece, as well as, bring a piece of history into your home as these structures are quickly disappearing.

These frames are authentic antique barn wood stripped by hand from out-of-use barns in the MS Delta and NOT the modern "weathered wood" that most are built out of or pallet wood. These are also heavier, thicker, and a wider face than most any other barn wood frame you will find for sale. They truly are a handcrafted work of art that will last for generations.

These alluring frames adapt themselves to a number of modern decorating styles, featuring clean lines and neutral tones. Handcrafted from antique barn wood in the Mississippi Delta, they are their own history. Our frames have a 1" barn wood border and are constructed with fasteners on top of glue for additional strength. This vintage wood is a true 1" thick lumber, not the current day 3/4" thickness.

The boards are painstakingly removed from out-of-use structures. Then all nails are removed and each board is cleaned by hand to remove excessive debris without removing personality and damaging decades worth of grain character. At this point, the board is processed and ready to become your own piece of artwork in your home.

The result is a charming matted portrait without the additional expense of a matte with pre-attached hardware that is designed to hang in both the picture and landscape orientation, although by adding a matte, one size smaller picture may be used. No cut wood is visible.
