Lot of 2 Vintage 1970s Panties - One Lavender and One Ivory New with Tags Vintage Both Tagged Size 7 though when measured, the Ivory pair is slightly smaller. Measurements Unstretched: Ivory: 30" waist, Lavender 32" waist. The waistbands have a lot of stretch - maybe 1.5 - 3" of stretch in them. Hips Unstretched: Ivory 36", Lavender 38". The Nylon also has stretch to it. These panties have High Waists: Rise - Lavender, 14"; Ivory 13". These panties also have Boylegs which do not show up well in my photos because I do not have a mannequin with legs. The lace around the legs also has stretch. 100% Nylon & 100% Cotton Gusset. These panties came from an estate in which there were dozens of intimate items still in the original store packaging - these panties in a bag from The "Lion" Store. Wikipedia states that Lion Store was founded in the mid 1800s in Toledo Ohio but after 100 years, stopped selling apparel in the 1980s before selling out its remaining Home Furnishings Department, to Dillards. These date to the 70s, the onset of disco, based on the shininess of the nylon fabric. The original pricing tags also date these panties.
