This superb pattern was created by the French sculptor, Antoine Heller, who was inspired by the murals in the Palace of Versailles. It is a multi-motif pattern from 1888 and each piece of this pattern is decorated with a figural theme from the Versailles Palace.
Beautiful sterling silver Asparagus Server measuring 9 1/2" in pattern Versailles by Gorham. This piece features a cherub at the end of the handle within foliage, which leads to the hooded, all-sterling, plain serving area. It is not monogrammed and is in excellent condition.
