Vintage original 27x41 in. US one-sheet poster from the 1960's "good girl gone bad" drama, CLAUDELLE INGLISH, released in 1961 by Warner Bros. and directed by Gordon Douglas. Based upon the novel by Erskine Caldwell, a beautiful young Southern lady (Diane McBain) remains faithful to the man she loves while he is away in the military . . . until she gets a letter that he has fallen in love with another. Now, donning a tight dress and putting on new makeup, she proceeds to use her allure to seek vengeance by driving the men in her small town wild in their desire for Claudelle Inglish.

The design plays-up the film's sexual theme and depicts beautiful blonde Claudelle Inglish (Diane McBain) coyly showing a barely leg and foot as the two guys in the background watch her. She is depicted in another shot in the classic image of the woman hiking up her stockings while raising a leg (but this time not beneath a lamp post) as well as an image of the "good girl" before she goes bad. Folded as originally issued, this vintage original one-sheet is unrestored in good condition only with a 10-inch diagonal crease that appears four times along the left edge; a small "0"-shaped tear on the center fold line near the center vertical fold line; a rectangular stain from a piece of dark tape near the top right corner with two smaller stains on the bottom corners; pinholes in or near the corners; and signs of wear on the top left corner. The color tints are fresh and vibrant without any signs of fading.
