RETIRED OLDER TY PLUSH ~ SO RARE (not the more recent classic) ~ WHINNIE the HORSE, Style #8006. Her rare 'KOREA' tush tag is dated 1993 and has the skinny 'ty' letters! She has a second tush tag, white & black, with one side printed in English & the other in FRENCH,
as she is the CANADIAN version of WHINNIE. Her very large, rare & old 2nd generation heart swing tag, also with the skinny 'ty' letters is the very early version with no addresses. Instead printed inside on the left is, "Ty represents the ultimate in soft toys. Only the world's finest fabrics are selected and meticulously tailored by dedicated craftsmen to provide maximum quality for many years of love." It has the "to" and "from" blanks and "with love", (inside on right), and "Handmade in Korea" on the back.

WHINNIE's fur is rich brown plush, with plush black hooves, a long furry black mane & tail, and a white diamond shape on her forehead. She is about 21" long from the tip of her nose to the tip of her 7" long tail. (Her body is about 14" long and her tail, when out-stretched, adds another 7"). She stands about 15" tall from the floor to the top of her head. Her eyes are two toned, brown & black & her nostrils are black.

WHINNIE is from my adult collection & in excellent condition! She has been stored wrapped in tissue paper in a plastic container since her purchase. She has never been displayed or played with & comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. Retired long ago, she is a rare find in this great condition & is a must for the serious TY collector! The WHINNIE that is pictured is the actual one that you will receive.
