A promo poster for American musician, singer and songwriter Chrisotpher John Cornell (July 20, 1964 - May 18, 2017). He was best known as the lead vocalist for the rock bands Soundgarden and Audioslave. Cornell was also known for his numerous solo works and soundtrack contributions since 1991, and as a founder and frontman for Temple of the Dog, the one-off tribute band dedicated to his late friend Andrew Wood. He struggled with depression for much of his life. He was found dead in his Detroit hotel room early on the mroning of May 18, 2017, after performing at a Soundgarden concert an hour earlier at the Fox Theater. His death was ruled suicide by hanging.
