These handmade copper earrings are a geometric design with wire wrapped clear cube crystal beads. A single ladder rail is formed by hammering a length of medium gauge wire to flatten the ends into paddles. Rungs of the ladder are formed by bending wire around clear cube crystal beads, hammering the ends, and carefully weaving them onto the rail with fine gauge wire.
The ear wire is also handmade out of copper wire. These earrings have a very artistic and modern look sure to get you noticed.
Copper - I use natural 100% copper wire to create copper jewelry items. It is not treated with a lacquer or wax. Copper naturally oxidizes over time and develops a patina. Some people love that look and some prefer to keep it shiny. Slow the oxidization process by wiping your copper jewelry with a soft clean cloth before and after each use to keep it clean. You can easily clean oxidized copper jewelry and return it to bright and shiny by soaking it in a mixture of lemon juice and salt for 30-60 seconds, rinse with water, and dry. Try it with a penny.
