Trocchi. who died in 1983, was a member of the French avante garde movement and edited an anthology, WRITERS IN REVOLT.  He had a provocative, but tragic, life, including a cocaine addiction and the loss of his wife and both sons in the '60s & '670s, one to suicide.  His short novel "Young Adam", which was filmed in 2004, had its first U.S. publication in this book, which also includes four short stories.Some spine wear, especially at the ends, moderate edge wear, some light cover creasing on the exterrior; the interior has two small page edge bumps , a small name written on the reverse of the front cover and toned pages. Still, a solid copy.
