For your consideration is a vintage Japanese miniature pottery people that have been handpainted and mounted on wood.  This is all handmade.  Lovely detail with each piece.  The female is in a Kimono and there is a Sumo wrestler and males in suit jackets  The female has come loose from the wire and can be reglued, the others are intact.  It measures 4 7/8" wide, 2 5/8" deep and is about 1 3/8" tall.  The people are about 7/8" tall.  It looks like there may have been a cover on it at one time.
