For your consideration is an antique gold gilt gesso frame in the Art Noveau designs.  This is a very ornate design with lots of scrolls and detail.  It is holding a vintage print under glass of "Master Simpson".  I believe the print is a lithograph.  The original painting by Arthur Devis (1763 - 1822) was exhibited in New York World's fair in 1939 and won 1st choice of the public.  What a wonderful pair for the antique painting vintage print in the elaborate gold gilt frame.  The frame measures 26 1/2" tall and 22 1/2" wide and is 2 1/4" deep outside measurements.  The inside will hold a 16" x 20".  One note, the frame corners are not tight as can be seen in the photo.  Once hung I did not see the small cracks.  It has been held together with the "L" brackets at each corner.  You can take these off and pull together tighter and replace or leave them for the antique look as it is.  Great pair together.  Signature will be required for delivery.
