Jan Saudek dated my aunt from Germany, who was visiting him. He took pictures of her in his trademark basement with the peeling paint, and with his trademark dolls. He gave her 5 original prints, (and the ones he took of her) which she gave to me. She also has many letters he wrote to her and he always designed the envelopes he sent his letters in. 

His erotic and personal photographs are hand colored with gorgeous colors and most of them were produced under communist rule.
