Up for bid is a beautiful handmade and originally designed (by me) anorexia support bracelet made of czech glass seed beads, sterling silver plated findings, and a dangling dragonfly charm. I tried to design the bracelet as a representation of a sufferer's precarious struggle to hang onto life. Strung on high quality jewelry wire, the "Dangle Me" bracelet is very durable yet still very flexible.
The standard length for this bracelet is about 6.75 inches (give or take 0.25 inches), but I will be happy to customize the bracelet upon request. Just be sure to include any special instructions with your payment.
Note: This bracelet is not intended to be used as pro-ana paraphernalia. The bracelet is made to be a reminder that one is not ailing or hurting alone. To my knowledge, this was the original idea of the red bracelet, which has warped into a self-destructive icon since its inception. My goal is to re-establish the original purpose of the red bracelet. To prevent abuse of this bracelet, I do reserve the right to cancel bids or refuse business to anyone who communicates or suggests misuse.
