These handmad copper earrings of an infinity triangle with opal beads are inspired by the celtic trinity knot. Three identical filigrees of wire are carefully shaped and hammered too strengthen. Fine gauge wire is then used to weave the pieces together with opal beads into an infinity triangle design. The earwires were also made by hand from copper wire. The opals really come alive against a dark background so they would especialy complement someone with dark hair.
Copper - I use natural 100% copper wire to create copper jewelry items. It is not treated with a lacquer or wax. Copper naturally oxidizes over time and develops a patina. Some people love that look and some prefer to keep it shiny. Slow the oxidization process by wiping your copper jewelry with a soft clean cloth before and after each use to keep it clean. You can easily clean oxidized copper jewelry and return it to bright and shiny by soaking it in a mixture of lemon juice and salt for 30-60 seconds, rinse with water, and dry. Try it with a penny.
