A great looking rather smalll painted wood candle box with a sliding lid. The box measures 6" by 4" and is ~3 3/4" high. It weighs about 8 ounces. The box is in great condition given its age. It has wear and paint losses commensurate with its age and utilitarian function. It is lean with no breaks or repairs. It does have paint losses along the edges , some minor losses and a small crack at one of the bottom corners, other minor cracks at the top corners, and general wear at all other corners. It also has a ~2" long crack along the left side at the slot where the lid fits. The entire surface has scratches and some minor paint losses. The back of the lid has some pitting indicative of wood insect damage, but the box is free of insects and the lid is still intact and solid. There is a scratch along one of the edges of the back of the lid, but this is not a crack since it does not go through to the other side.
