Antique sausage stuffer from southeastern Pennsylvania. It is made of tin housing with a wood plunger. The stuffer is in very good shape given its age and utilitarian function. The tin portion has a few scratches, some minor rust spots, some distortion at the end of the tip, but no appreciable dings or distortion to the body itself. It has lost the loop that was at the top of the syringe to hang from (The next to last photo shows the hole where the loop would have fit on the bottom at the edge of the syringe). The top of the plunger has a beautiful dark patina again indicating extensive use and has a few scratches and minor loses to the edge. The plunger body itself shows considerable wear and scratches and losses along the bottom edge all commensurate with extensive use and cleaning. All in all the piece is in very good condition after being around in kitchens for over 100 years. Please view photos for additional condition information.
