These very cute Christmas-decorated boxes are new.  They have been packed and in storage since I purchased them many years ago at a Mikasa store.
 
All five boxes are constructed of heavy paperboard and are hand-painted.  The Christmas trees are painted on both sides but the snowmen are not.  These great little boxes would make wonderful wrappings for those small priceless holiday gifts, and perhaps even a hostess gift with a special spice or chocolates inside.
