In a small town near Mexico City, Gabina a backward Junior high school student, falls in love with Maty his charming schoolmate, who rejects him because he comes on to her so clumsily.
Humilliated and led on by his classroom friends, Gabino agrees to punish vain Maty. 
The consequences take them to thepit guarded by an ancient magic stone were he and his father hide there.
