While the box is in good shape some of the corners are torn and some of the paper has bubbled. The Thimble is missing but the set has the needle, the embroidery floss and directions all placed on the original cardboard from the box. Most of the cardboard box pieces are there but I can't tell if this set had a bottom lid to the box OR the cardboard that says Cute as a Button had a cellophane window as the contents of the box are viable through that side. I did put the entire item into a mylar plastic bag just to hold everything together.
