Item description for Vintage Earrings Hoop Dangle Spiral Silver Wire Wrapped Caged Crystal

These are a beautiful pair of vintage clip on earrings that are uniquely different from the earrings you see today. The top of the earrings are a free form spiral coil wrapped silver wire circle. Hanging from the coiled piece is a large silver hoop and dangling from the center of the hoop is an eye catching wrapped clear white round large bead. I'm not sure what the beads are made of, could be glass, crystal or plastic, there are bubbles inside them, which are part of the sculptural design. They remind me of disco balls. The earrings are not marked or signed, but are obviously designer quality. I believe these are aluminum wire rather than sterling silver, but I could be wrong.

These clip earrings are in excellent vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. I have not polished them, I will leave that up to you. They measure approximately 3 1/4 inches long and 2 1/8 inches wide. You can see how large they are in the picture with the earring on the ear. They have a total weight of 1.9 ounces on my Postage Scale, which converts to 53.86 grams. The clips are nice and secure and are comfortable to wear.

This pair of eye catching beauties would make a great addition to your collection of vintage jewelry. They would look amazing with your dressy evening wear as well as with casual jeans.
