For your consideration, here is a Vintage Asbestos Brand Sad Iron No. 72-A Bottom Metal Part.  FYI, The asbestos part was the pad that the iron use to rest on, to maintain the heat.  I don't have that.  It measures 6 5/8 inches wide, 3 1/2 inches deep and 1 7/8 inches tall.  It has some wear on it.  Item pictured is the actual item up for sale and comes from a non-smoking household.
