This is a mint 2016 USPS stamp sheet of 20  self adhesive FOREVER stamps featuring the work of Ezra Jack Keat's most beloved story, The Snowy Day (1962).

It was one of the first prominent 20th century picture books devoted to an African-American child.

Each of the four stamps features a different illustration of main character Peter exploring and playing in his neighborhood while wearing his iconic red snowsuit, Peter forming a snowball, Peter sliding downa mountain of snow, Peter making a snow angel and Peter leaving footprints in the snow.

Measures 5-3/4 x 2-3/8" . Mint condition.
