"Role Models was a comedy based upon a man named Danny (Paul Rudd) who was so cynical and jaded he couldn’t have a functioning relationship with anyone. His girlfriend Beth (Elizabeth Banks) leaves him because she can’t stand his attitude. His only friend is Wheeler (Seann William Scott) who he works with. They get in trouble and have to mentor two kids. One is foul mouthed pre-teen named Ronnie (Bobb’e Thompson) and the other named Augie (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) loves fantasy live action role playing. The movie is about whether Danny can find some purpose and joy in life and save his relationships with Beth and Wheeler, while mentoring Augie."
