**I LOVE plants that can be neglected and still thrive well!** **GROWN ON OUR FARM HERE IN TENNESSEE** Rare Giant Caveman's Club (Lagenaria siceraria) The Giant Caveman's club also called the Maranka gourd! I really like this "Bigger" gourd! Grows to about 28 inches long! Giant Caveman's club is green with light green markings and looks like a primitive club but has a rough shapes texture to the club part of the gourd. This gives it an arty look! This also makes a great birdhouse. Botanical Name: Cucurbita species. Known since ancient times in America's and Europe where they were used as a club and a vessel! Makes an unusual shaker (Hosho). Lovely coloured or estapoled! This larger variety is distinguished by its ridged and spiky surface and harder shell! Produces deep green shiny fruit with a curved and striaght neck, sometimes tapers at the stem end. Hardest shell variety out there,. which is very good for crafts. Great producer! Can be grown over tall trellis if required or if space is limited. Harvest when mature and hang from stem in cool, shaded position to dry. Once dry can be varnished to enhance colours. These unique club shaped gourds are edible when young (about 8" long)! Other Common Names: Caveman's Club, Maranka, Alligator #1234 * We offer combine shipping ALL OVER THE WORLD!!!****
