The SOA, recently renamed by the dept of war, trains men (no women mentioned) in commando tactics and guerilla fighting including torture and assassination.  HQ'd in Ft Benning, Ga. it has been protested against for about 25 years by thousands of American citizens. Reason: There have been many incidents in central American countries where whole villages have been ransacked, women raped and murdered and children murdered..also missionaries.  In most incidents the perpetrator officers in the greatest majority of the incidents are grads of SOA - a sorry note. But it's in the best interest of large Amercan companies to keep the assassins active so wageearners don't get livable wages and can't organize for their betterment.
